For 20 years, the Archdiocese has provided Safe Environment training to help properly respond and prevent sexual abuse of children by those who serve the church. Anyone working or volunteering with children or youth is required to take an in-person training workshop provided for free by the Archdiocese. A new policy requires a refresher of this course every 5 years. If you have not taken this workshop, or wish to attend in-person for your refresher, we are hosting the training this Monday, August 29, at 6:30 pm in our Parish Community Center. After a long summer break from bible study, our new Coordinator of Adult Faith Formation would like to invite members of the parish interested in weekday scriptural study to take part in a greeting and listening breakfast. Join Andrew on Friday August 12th in the Family and Youth Center following the 8:00 am daily Mass for donuts and coffee and to give your input and to hear ideas on upcoming study sessions.
